I found this spot a few miles from the house yesterday. I liked the way the trees seemed to be talking to each other.

I've been looking a works by Alfred C Chadbourn lately. His outdoor scenes have great design. They look simple, but trust me, it's not to easy to attain simple.

I used an old frame from a failed painting and stretched my own canvas for this one.
There is something more satisfying about starting from scratch.
This is a larger version of one I did at a Bob Rohm workshop last Fall.
This is one of my favorites. Not over stated, but it says so much.
