It was a long day of painting yesterday. I'm glad I stayed for this one.

9x12 oil on canvas panel "Rockers"

It was fun trying to capture the worker's gestures. They were working on the house across the street.

12x16 oil on canvas panel "Trees and Clouds"

I like the way the trees mimic the clouds, sometimes.

12x16 oil on canvas panel "Silos and Clouds"

Lots of color in this one.

8x10 oil oil canvas panel "Late Clouds"

One more before clean-up and drive home.

8x10 oil on gessoboard panel "Red Barn and Clouds"

The skies around Raleigh have been spectacular. The days have been cooler also. Great for getting out there.

9x12 oil on canvas panel "Meeting Street"

This was a two day painting. The light changed half-way through the first session.
I had to go back the next day to finish.

12x16 oil on canvas panel "Shem Creek"

I liked Shem Creek. I'll have to go back there someday.

12x16 oil on canvas panel "Colorful Houses"

I went on a painting trip to Charleston, SC last week. It's hard work painting in that crazy heat.
