Back to the Aiken's property yesterday. I like how this one turned out. I had a red toned canvas
that I've been carrying around for a while. It worked well with this subject.

Out to the local nature park yesterday. The light on this path caught my eye.

11x14 oil on gessoboard panel "Tabacco Barn"

Quite a different approach with this one. It has a heavier underpainting and looser brushstrokes. I like the way it turned out.

Man it's a hot one! I started this in the shade of a large oak tree. I had to work fast before the Sun hit me. This image was scanned-in using my scanner. I can't tell much difference from a digital photo.
