12x16 oil on canvas panel "Hay Bales"
It was great fun painting this one. I ran into "Cowboy" working this field. He and his friend were baling the hay for his horses. What a great day I had painting while they worked around me.

11x14 oil on gessoboard panel "Reflecting Pond"

It was a real joy to be outside yesterday. Standing on the side of a hill looking at Fall all around me was very calming. This one took longer than usual. I don't know if it was because the subject needed the extra time or because I was having so much fun that I didn't want it to end.

9x12 oil on canvas panel "Gables Motor Inn"

Going to this place is like taking a trip back in time. The quaint buildings and the zig-zag car port have a lot of charm. It was the Maple trees that got all the attention on this day.

9x12 oil on canvas panel "Parker Farm II"

The large pines dwarfed the little barn, but the light on it made it shine.

11x14 oil on canvas panel "Fall Colors"

I was in new territory yesterday visiting with my new friends Chris and Bruce. I stopped to paint the trees on my way home.
